Ivan & Alyosha

Ivan & Alyosha

Indie/Folk (Seattle)

Formed in 2007 by singer/songwriters Tim Wilson and Ryan Carbary (the band name come from the characters in Brothers Karamazov, not some bizarre pseudonymns), this Indie Folk group drew attention from NPR with its 2009 debut EP, The Verse, the Chorus, and turned more heads at South By Southwest in 2010. This year they’ve built on that acclaim with extensive touring behind the sophomore EP, Fathers Be Kind, recently coming off a stint playing theaters and amphitheaters with singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile.
