Pet Lions

Pet Lions

Indie Pop (Chicago)

Pet lions are rarely a good idea. But the eclectic music of Pet Lions, the Chicago-based Indie Rock foursome, is exploding with good ideas. With tasteful, wiry Post Punk guitar, synth touches and smooth hooks that’ll creep into your brain and build a new home, the group — which has played around Chicago with similarly-minded acts like White Rabbits and Maps & Atlases — is currently on the road supporting its first long-player, Houses, released just a few months ago to great reviews.

~ “What we have here is a finely curated selection of smooth pop songs…Houses is a great foray into a new more layered sound for Pet Lions.” (Loud Loop Press)

~ “Houses, as a whole, is accessible music but with a flair that is sure to get this band noticed.” (PopWreckoning)
