Indie/Post Punk (Bloomington, Ind.)
Moody, adventurous and darkly majestic, Indiana quintet Tammar draws from ’80s Post Punk (think Joy Division or The Fall) and mixes it with noisy experimentalism and ominous atmospherics, which are magnetic in their unpredictability. Earlier this year it was announced that the group had signed with respected indie label Suicide Squeeze, which releases the band’s new full-length, Visits, on the Tuesday before Tammar’s MidPoint appearance.
