A highlight of past MidPoints, Kentucky quartet The Pass throws a dance party every time they play a show. But it’s not the vapid dance parties where the music is just the soundtrack to a litany of bad pickup lines and apathetic dispositions. The Pass engages with enchanting Psychedelic Disco Rock, swirling, funky atmospherics, Indie Pop song structures and gripping melodies. You’ll dance, but you’ll probably buy a CD or two at the merch booth, too. The band’s last album, Burst, came out just before last year’s MPMF.
