Two Headed Dog

Two Headed Dog

Psych/Rock (Cincinnati)

A two-headed dog is an odd creature you wouldn’t want to encounter in a dark alley (assuming “two heads” means two sets of teeth and the dog isn’t a Chihuahua). Two Headed Dog, the Cincy band formed out of the ashes of two local bands The Virgins and Thee Shams, is no yappy li’l dog and if you ran into them in a dark alley, you should run … if you’ve grown fond of your ass and don’t want it rocked off. Taking bluesy Psych Rock, dark, sludgey heaviness and a nod to the Pre-Punk Rock of the late ’60s/early’70s and giving it their own snarl, Two Headed Dog is finishing up its debut album, which they recorded at Brian Olive’s studio in Northside.
